West Java's South Line Starts To Be Passed By Homecoming Vehicles

GARUT - The southern route of West Java across Garut Regency has begun to be crowded with travelers from the west or Bandung to the east or Central Java and the surrounding area today, D-7 Eid.

"Early homecoming is starting to feel in Garut, the Head of Police said that there had been a 20 percent increase in currents passing through the southern region," said Deputy Chief of Police Komjen Gatot Eddy Pramono when inspecting the southern route of West Java in Limbangan, Garut Regency, as reported by Antara, Monday, April 25.

He said the Garut Police, which has a security area in the southern route of West Java, is ready to provide security on the homecoming route.

The increase in the flow of vehicles, he said, would certainly be a concern for all levels, including at the police and local government levels to make going home safe, comfortable and smooth.

"This, of course, has to be a job for the Head of Police and forkopimda because tomorrow is nearing Lebaran, we hope that going home will be safe, comfortable and smooth," said Gatot.

The Deputy Chief of Police said that the police in the Garut area were ready to anticipate traffic jams and other disturbances in securing the Lebaran homecoming flow.

In addition, he continued, there is a Panic Button application to provide services to people who need Police assistance when traveling back and forth.

"You can download it, you can find out where the traffic jams are, which paths are there, and so on, then it's a matter of working with workshops for portable repair shops," he said.

The Deputy Chief of Police emphasized that the police not only secure the flow of vehicle traffic so that it is smooth and safe, but also anticipates disturbances to security and public order.

"The steps that have been prepared, we minimize disturbances to security and social order in the Garut area," he said.
