Eddy said that his party will conduct odd-even trials on the Cikampek Utama toll road from Monday (25/4) to Wednesday (27/4).
The odd-even trial simulation which was held on Monday (25/4) will start at 11.00-13.00 WIB with locations at KM 47 Cikampek Utama to KM 70 North Cikampek Toll Gate.
The odd-even application for these vehicles will also be continued on Tuesday (26/4) at KM 47 to Palimanan Toll Gate KM 188 from 11.00 to 13.00 WIB.
According to Eddy, on Wednesday (27/4) the activity will start at 10.00 to 17.00 WIB at KM 47 to Kalimgkung Toll Gate KM 144.
A total of 75 personnel were deployed at KM 46 to monitor the movements of every passing vehicle. This number can be increased according to the results of evaluation and monitoring in the field.
Based on observations, starting from KM 46, it is true that the roads are still smooth even though they are congested. However, the density is caused by the number of heavy vehicles, such as trucks, that pass through the area more than other types of vehicles.
Eddy said his party would still continue to monitor the number of heavy vehicles that pass both on toll roads and arterial roads in accordance with circular letter number 45 of 2022 concerning road traffic regulation during Eid 2022 transportation issued by the Ministry of Transportation.
If tomorrow the number of vehicles increases, it is possible that his party will make diversions, including imposing a discretionary contra flow system up to one way.
