Today Is The Deadline For Giving THR, Complaints Post In Gunung Kidul Yogyakarta No Complaint Reports

YOGYAKARTA - The Department of Industry, Cooperatives, Small, Medium Enterprises and Manpower of Gunung Kidul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), has yet to receive any reports regarding the issue of providing holiday allowances or THR.

"We have opened the THR Complaints Post, but so far there have been no reports of complaints," said the Head of Manpower, Industry Service, SME Cooperatives and Gunung Kidul Manpower Asih Wulandari in Gunung Kidul, Antara, Monday, April 25.

In accordance with the provisions in the Circular of the Minister of Manpower Number M/1/HK.04/IV/2022 concerning the Implementation of the Provision of THR in 2022 for Workers or Laborers in companies, this additional salary can be given 14 days before Eid. Today, Monday, April 25 is the last deadline for giving THR.

He said that giving THR is an obligation that must be carried out by employers to workers.

Therefore, his party helped the DIY Government to monitor the provision of THR in Gunung Kidul. So far, his party has monitored and visited business actors or companies.

"The results of monitoring to the company also show that the employer's commitment to provide this additional salary in a timely manner. They also convey their commitment to the date to pay the THR," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Industrial Relations Section, the Manpower Sector, the SME Cooperative Industry Service and the Gunung Kidul Manpower Mariyana Ani Hastuti said that the THR complaint post was opened up to seven days after Eid.

However, he admits that the district office does not have the authority to resolve if a complaint comes in related to the problem because the authority lies with the DIY Government.

"If a complaint comes in later, we will report it to the province. The plan is for the post to be opened up to seven days after Idul Fitri," he said.

The chairman of the Confederation of All-Indonesian Trade Unions (KSPSI) Gunung Kidul Budiyana said KSPSI was still monitoring the provision of THR.

Until now, many employers have provided this additional salary.

"Based on monitoring, indeed there are still those who have not provided. For example, gas station workers, were only given today," he said.
