Cianjur Regency Government Forbids ASN To Use Official Cars For Lebaran Homecoming

JAKARTA - The government of Cianjur Regency, West Java, has banned state civil servants (ASN) in the area from using official cars for the 2022 Eid homecoming purposes.

"We prohibit ASN in the government environment from going home using official vehicles, please go home using private vehicles," said Cianjur Regent Herman Suherman in Cianjur, quoted from Antara, Saturday, April 23.

Strict action will be taken up to strict sanctions will be imposed on ASN who violate the prohibition so that every ASN using official cars is required to report themselves and the position of the vehicle.

The Cianjur Regency Regional Inspectorate will oversee the movement of official vehicles during Lebaran.

"If it is proven that there are ASN using official vehicles to return to their hometown, the Irda (Regional Inspectorate) will take action. Every ASN using official vehicles is required to report the position of the vehicle before going home," he said.

Regarding public services during the Lebaran homecoming season, his party has asked all puskesmas to continue operating and the head of the puskesmas is prohibited from taking leave, including all officers and health workers to be alerted.

The policy was issued so that health services for the community and vaccinations continue to run, especially in areas that are the homecoming route because Cianjur is a homecoming destination.

"Health services and vaccinations must run optimally, especially since more homecomers will return to their hometowns to Cianjur, so we make various efforts to prevent transmission cases," he said.

He asked residents and travelers to continue to adapt to new habits and strict procedures, and to equip themselves with booster vaccinations.

Homecomers who feel symptoms of illness can immediately come to the puskesmas that are not on holiday during the holidays in all sub-districts in Cianjur.
