MEDAN - The North Sumatra Provincial Government opened the Religious Holiday Allowance Complaints Command Post for 2022 by providing a contact number that workers can contact directly.

"The officer who is trusted to receive the worker's report regarding the THR will immediately confirm the complaint and the team will handle it," said the Head of the North Sumatra Manpower Service, Baharuddin Siagian in Medan, quoted by Antara, Friday, April 22.

The THR Complaint Post was carried out by the North Sumatra Provincial Government referring to the Circular Letter of the Minister of Manpower regarding the Implementation of the Granting of Religious THR in 2022.

In order to make it known to workers about the complaint service, the North Sumatra Manpower Office has placed banners in several locations.

"Hopefully, entrepreneurs carry out their obligations because previously the North Sumatra Manpower Office had warned employers to pay THR according to government regulations," he said.

Baharuddin did not specify how many THR cases were reported by workers in 2021 on the grounds that he did not remember the exact figures.

"What is certain is that there are not many cases and the cases can be handled immediately," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the North Sumatra BI Representative Office, Doddy Zulverdi, said the THR money encouraged economic movement.

With the THR money, the people's ability to shop will be higher and it will encourage economic movement.

"In the midst of economic movement due to the impact of THR money, what we need to watch out for is the surge in inflation due to rising prices of various basic commodities ahead of Eid al-Fitr," said Doddy.
