Commission II Of DPR Discusses 2024 Election Budget Again After Eid Holiday

JAKARTA - Commission II of the DPR RI has confirmed that it will discuss the agenda for the stages and budget of the 2024 General Election after Eid al-Fitr 2022. And it can be completed before the middle of this year. Member of Commission II of the DPR, Guspardi Gaus, said they are targeting the discussion of the stages and budget for the election to be completed during the recess. That way, the discussion can be completed completely before the plenary session of the IV session of the DPR RI on May 17, 2022. 2022 or after Eid," said Guspardi Gaus to reporters, Friday, April 22. It is known that the DPR RI has closed the trial period and is in recess from April 15 to May 16.

According to Guspardi, the state's financial condition, which is currently 'not doing well' due to the COVID-19 pandemic, should be taken into consideration in preparing the 2024 election budget. Therefore, the discussion of the budget must be considered with various considerations.
