JAKARTA - A resident found a large snake coiled in the bathroom of his house, located on Jalan Bantar Jati, RT 01/02, Setu Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta, Friday, April 22, morning.

In order to evacuate the snake, the Gulkarmat Sub-dept. deployed 3 rescue personnel to the location where the snake was found. The evacuation process started at 07.54 WIB.

"The snake was successfully evacuated at 08.15 WIB using tongs. After being identified, the snake was a python with a length of 2 meters. It was found wrapped around the bathroom floor near the toilet," he said.

Gatot said, from information from the owner of the house, the incident was known when the owner of the house was about to take a shower.

"He saw a python, then reported it to the East Jakarta Fire Department," he said.

The snake was successfully evacuated and put into the container provided for animal rescue. The snakes were then taken to the Fire Department, which would later be handed over to reptile observers.
