PKS-Gerindra Affirms Rejection Of Interpellation Of Formula E

JAKARTA - The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) faction and the Gerindra faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD emphasized that they still reject the Interpellation of Formula E because everything has been explained by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov).

The chairman of the PKS faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Ahmad Yani, said that his party did not agree to hold the Interpellation of Formula E because all matters regarding Formula E had been explained by the DKI Provincial Government.

"Formula E interpellation does not need to be carried out because everything related to Formula E has been very clearly conveyed by the executive to DPRD members in commission meetings," he said as quoted by Antara, Thursday, April 21.

Meanwhile, the Secretary of Commission D of the DKI Jakarta DPRD from the Gerindra Syarif faction said that his party would still reject the Interpellation of Formula E.

"We stick to our original stance, we will not participate. If anyone wants to do that, it's our political right, we can't interfere with it. We appreciate it, but we don't participate. Please go," said Syarif.

The deputy chairman of the DKI Jakarta Gerindra Party DPD asked that the two factions namely PDIP and PSI immediately end the Interpellation drama Formula E.

"Indeed, I want to invite the proposer. Earlier, I invited the rejecters, I invited them again, never mind, that's enough. This drama is over," he said.

The chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetio Edi Marsudi, previously said that he would continue the plenary session of the Interpellation of Formula E after Eid al-Fitr.

The Formula E interpellation plenary meeting may be held again after 9 May 2022.

"Idul Fitri is over. Now is the time," said Prasetio to reporters, Monday (18/4).

Prasetio said that he would schedule a meeting of the Deliberative Body (Bamus) as soon as possible to hold a plenary meeting for the Interpellation of Formula E.

"Yes, at the Bamus, it is scheduled first," he said.
