DEPOK - The Depok City Transportation Service (Dishub) has set up a monitoring post to see the movement of traffic flow related to the 2022 Eid homecoming. The post is placed at the Depok Terminal and the Depok Transportation Service Office.

Head of the Depok City Transportation Service, Eko Herwiyanto said the officers would be on standby starting from D-7 and D+7 Eid at several points in Depok City.

He said two monitoring posts were prepared by the Transportation Agency to complement the security posts and service posts that had been prepared by the Depok Metro Police.

The Depok Metro Police also prepared seven Pam Posts and Yan Posts, such as at the intersection of Jalan Raya Margonda and Jalan Juanda, access to the Cisalak Toll Gate, Cinere intersection, Jatijajar Terminal, Sengon Intersection, and a number of other locations.

According to him, our monitoring post at the Dishub office is to monitor the Area Traffic Control System (ATCS) equipped with CCTV. As for personnel, we will support the police to regulate traffic at density points.

"We have been on standby since D-7. For how technically we will wait for directions from the Depok Metro Police," said Eko in Depok, quoted by Antara, Thursday, April 20.

Eko added that all personnel who were on alert were aimed at helping to secure the smooth flow of traffic. That way, people can comfortably use the road. "We are ready for the convenience of the community. Likewise with the damaged street lamps, we are still continuing to make repairs," he said.
