Ahead Of Lebaran Homecoming, Tangerang Metro Police Establish 9 Community Service Posts As Well As Vaccine Outlets

TANGERANG - The Tangerang Metro Police will set up 9 command posts ahead of the 2022 Eid homecoming. The goal is to provide services for the people who travel to their hometowns.

The Tangerang Metro Police Chief, Kombes Komarudin, said that the 9 command posts consist of security, service and integration.

"So we spread them out at 9 different points, of course with different characteristics. We set up 4 security posts, then 4 more service posts, 1 integrated post," said Komarudin when confirmed, Wednesday, April 20.

Komarudin explained that the establishment of the post will be held on D-7 of Eid 2022. Now his party is conducting a survey regarding the construction of the posts that will be built later.

"Starting the operation on D-7, yes. We just surveyed the place, we prepared it. Of course we read the potential that travelers might need," he said.

For facilities at the service post, Komarudin said that his party provides vaccines for travelers who wish to inject booster vaccines.

"We also prepare vaccine service facilities at the service post. If later there are travelers who want to be vaccinated, we will prepare the place. But that doesn't mean it's blocked," he said.

"(Essentially) we are a humanitarian operation. So we do not prioritize action. We prioritize education, including service and safety, which is our priority," he added.
