The provisions are contained in the Addendum to Circular Letter Number 16 of 2022 concerning Provisions for Travel of Domestic People during the COVID-19 Pandemic Period.
In the addendum, the Head of the Task Force for Handling COVID-19, Suharyanto, stated that domestic travelers aged 6 to 17 are not required to carry out PCR or antigen tests.

Meanwhile, the general public is allowed to go home without including the results of the COVID-19 test if it has been boosted. Then, people who have been vaccinated twice must show negative antigen test results taken 1x24 hours or PCR taken 3x24 hours before departure. In addition, those who cannot be vaccinated due to certain health conditions or comorbidities, must show a negative PCR test result taken 3 x 24 hours before departure as well as an official certificate from the hospital.
Wiku emphasized that this provision applies to all modes, including air, sea, land transportation using private or public vehicles, crossing transportation, and long-distance trains.
