Bengkulu City Government Allows ASN Cars To Use State Facilities For Personal Interest, For Example Official Cars For Homecoming

BENGKULU - The Bengkulu City Government has allowed state civil servants (ASN) within the Bengkulu City Government to use official cars when going home for Eid Al-Fitr 1443 Hijriah.

Deputy Mayor of Bengkulu, Dedy Wahyudi in Bengkulu, Tuesday, April 19, said that the city government allowed ASN to use official cars during the long Eid al-Fitr holiday to go home.

However, he said, the car should not be damaged and if the car is damaged, the ASN concerned must repair the vehicle without having to use state money.

"If you just go home using an official car, that's fine and we also understand the current conditions," he said.

This was done, said Dedy Wahyudi, because not all ASN or officials at the Bengkulu City Government have private cars.

Previously, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) set the date for the Eid al-Fitr 1443 Hijri national holiday and Eid 2022 joint leave on 2-3 May 2022 and joint leave on 29 April and 4-6 May 2022.

"The Eid al-Fitr national holiday and Eid holidays can be used to stay in touch with relatives at home," he said.

The President appealed to the public to remain vigilant and adhere to health protocols (prokes) such as maintaining distance, washing hands and wearing masks because the pandemic is not over yet.
