JAKARTA - The National Police will hold the Ketupat Operation to secure the situation during Eid 2022. In this operation, hundreds of thousands of vital objects are targeted for security.
"For security objects, there are 101,454 objects that have been secured," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Tuesday, April 19.
The hundreds of thousands of vital objects consist of 90,796 mosques, 4,324 shopping centers, 4,326 tourist attractions, 833 terminals, 666 ports, 299 train stations and 210 airports.
This operation was also carried out for 12 days, starting from April 28 to May 9 2022. The National Police will deploy as many as 144,329 personnel.
"Overall, the number of personnel is 144,392, the details are the National Police Headquarters 876, the Regional Police in the ranks of 87,004 and related agencies 56,512 personnel," said Ramadhan.
On the other hand, regarding the security of going back and forth, the National Police has prepared 2,702 posts which are divided into 1,710 security posts, 730 service posts and 258 integrated posts.
