BANDA ACEH - The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) of the Aceh Police has again raided the location of a stockpiling of subsidized diesel fuel (BBM) in the residential area of Meunasah Baet Village, Krueng Barona Jaya District, Aceh Besar.

"The owner has been identified and we will immediately summon him for questioning," said Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the Aceh Police, Kombes Sony Sonjaya, in Aceh Besar, as reported by Antara, Monday, April 18.

During this raid, the Aceh Police found six drums filled with diesel oil, 12 empty tanks with a one-ton capacity, and a pump engine in an unfinished house.

In addition to the house, said Sony, the police also found a passenger car (L-300) and a cargo car that had been modified with a tank with a capacity of one ton of oil at the location.

"In this house there are 6 drums filled with fuel, there are 12 units of one tonne tank and there is a pumping machine, the information is that this business has been around for one year," he said.

Sony said that his party had already pocketed the name of the owner who carried out the hoarding, so that in the near future he would be asked for a statement.

"Currently (evidence) there are 600 liters in the drum, because the tanks are empty. We have secured everything," said Sony.

Regarding this case, Sony continued, his party is still exploring whether there is a game at the gas station, then what is the mode, so that it can be processed further up to the public prosecutor.

"I urge the gas station owners to control when the car fills with oil, how much capacity it has. Because if it has been modified it can be up to one ton, and that is not possible," he said.

Sony added that this finding is the 22nd case of the Aceh Regional Police regarding the hoarding of subsidized diesel fuel from various districts/cities in Aceh. Previously, up to the 21st case, 44.5 tons of evidence had been secured.

"In the past two weeks, the Aceh Regional Police have 21 cases with a total of 44.5 tons of evidence, and this is the 22nd case," said Sony Sonjaya.
