JAKARTA - Members of the Gerindra faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD consider that the Formula E interpellation process does not need to be continued. Syarif views that this proposal has stalled and cannot be carried out again.

Bearing in mind, in the previous Interpellation process for Formula E, seven factions in the DKI DPRD expressed their rejection. In fact, they had reported the chairman of the DKI DPRD to the Honorary Board of the DKI DPRD for holding an interpellation plenary meeting.

"Interpellation is like a curious spirit in quotation marks. Dead people are awakened again. There should be no need, scary horror. If you look at political rationality, it is no longer possible," said Syarif when contacted, Sunday, April 17.

Syarif admitted that the proposed right to ask the Governor of DKI Jakarta regarding certain issues, in this case the use of the Formula E budget is the right of the members of the council. However, looking at the map of the DKI DPRD's political stance, the interpellation will not be successful.

Moreover, if you want to question the commitment fee budget for Formula E from the APBD, PDIP and PSI can simply write to the Governor of DKI Anies Baswedan. Thus, the duties of the DPRD in carrying out supervision are not hampered only by carrying out interpellations.

"There is another way, just write a letter to the governor and the governor will answer. Then the preparation of the RKPD must be completed in July. It must be discussed by the executive and legislature. If you want to force it, it will be like that again," he said.

Previously, the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, decided to hold a Deliberative Body (Bamus) meeting with the agenda of determining the schedule for the plenary meeting to determine the Interpellation of Formula E.

The interpellation proposal process, said Prasetyo, was decided to continue after he was visited by the PDIP faction of the DKI DPRD. In addition, he was also decided not to violate ethics by the Honorary Board (BK) of the DKI DPRD for holding an interpellation plenary meeting a few months ago.

Today, I have the Head of the Fraction and the Secretary of the Fraction (PDIP) to ask questions after the BK examination period is over. So, I will do it, later I will finish it as soon as possible. It could be tomorrow, it could be the day after tomorrow," said Prasetyo at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building, Wednesday, April 13.

Although currently the construction of the Formula E circuit is ongoing, and even the asphalting has been completed, this has not stopped PDIP's intention to resume interpellation.

This is because the interpellation is the DPRD's right to ask the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan. In this case, the DPRD will ask Anies for transparency regarding the commitment fee of Rp560 billion disbursed from the DKI Regional Budget, the loan process to Bank DKI, and a feasibility study for the implementation of Formula E.

"I am the representative of the people who are elected by the people, as a member of the council. There is a situation where the BPK audit finds. I asked in an official forum, it's called an interpellation. I want to question him. If he can respect people, I can respect him too, and vice versa ," said Prasetyo.
