MANOKWARI - The Commander of the XVIII/Kasuari Military Command, Major General Gabriel Lema, wants soldiers who have just been inaugurated after completing their first enlisted education in the TNI AD Wave II/2021 to adhere to the Sapta Marga, the Soldier's Oath, and the Eight Mandatory Military Forces.

"TNI soldiers are bound by military discipline, life is always regulated by various norms and rules that apply within the TNI AD environment, such as the Sapta Marga, the Soldier's Oath, and the Eight Mandatory Military Forces, this must be a concern for new soldiers," he said in Manokwari, as quoted by Antara. , Saturday, April 16th.

He expects the new soldiers to adhere to these norms and become soldiers who always do their best, are brave, honest, sincere, have a chivalrous spirit and can be relied upon as guardians of the State and Nation.

There are 169 teenage soldiers who graduated from the Enlisted Candidate School for the XVIII/Casuari Military Regiment, who have just been appointed to the rank of second soldier to carry out their duties in the West Papua region.

He hopes that the new soldier will strengthen his intention and determination to become a soldier who always loves and is loved by the people. Reminded to avoid attitudes and behaviors that can harm and hurt people's hearts and damage the image of the TNI AD.

"Young TNI soldiers are children of the state to maintain the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia, they must not be crybaby soldiers, must be tough and stand the test and must be willing to be placed anywhere they are assigned," he said.

Meanwhile, the Regent of Manokwari, Hermus Indou, expressed his appreciation to the XVIII/Kasuari Military Command which has completed the first enlisted education of the Indonesian Army, Wave II/2021 for 169 young soldiers who are the hope of the nation.

He hopes that the enlisted soldiers who have passed the first education will always build strong motivation to become good soldiers.

“Always devoting himself to the Nation and State, more specifically the people in West Papua Province. Once integrated with the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, it must remain forever," he said.
