JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has corrected the status of three of the six people involved in beating Ade Armando. All three are listed as suspected perpetrators and not suspects.

"They have not been named as suspects. These six people have been identified as the perpetrators of the beating. So don't be mistaken," said Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes E. Zulpan, to reporters, Thursday, April 14.

Three people whose statuses have been rectified include Abdul Manaf, Ade Purnama, and Abdul Latif.

The rectification of the suspect's status was the result of a mis-identification of Abdul Manaf. He who was found in Karawang was not the perpetrator of the beating.

Meanwhile, for Muhammad Bagja, Komar, Diah Ulhaq, remain suspects. Because, based on the evidence they did beat Ade Armando.

"These three (suspects, ed) (based on, ed) two pieces of evidence are suspects," said Zulpan.

Previously, the Director of Crime and Crime of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Tubagus Ade Hidayat said his party had named six suspects for beating Ade Armando.

"We have named six suspects for the case of beating Ade Armando," said Tubagus.

Meanwhile, Ade Armando was the victim of a beating during a student demonstration in the DPR building area on April 11.
