Social Minister Risma Ensures BLT For Cooking Oil Completes Disbursement A Week Before Eid

JAKARTA - Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Tri Rismaharini ensured that he would complete the distribution of cooking oil direct cash assistance (BLT) in accordance with the direction of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), which is a week before the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.

It is known, President Joko Widodo ordered the distribution of BLT cooking oil to be carried out during Ramadan and is targeted to be completed before Eid.

Risma said that currently cooking oil BLT is in the process of being distributed in all regions in Indonesia. In this BLT disbursement, the Ministry of Social Affairs cooperated with PT Pos Indonesia.

"God willing, it will be possible (to disburse BLT for migrants) a week before Eid," said Risma at the DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, April 13.

Risma explained that cooking oil BLT will be given to 20.65 million residents who come from data on recipients of the Family Hope Program (PKH) and food assistance recorded in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS). Each of them will be given a fund of IDR 300 thousand for the period of April, May and June.

"So we top up (BLT Migor) for those who receive around 20.56 million. That's what we will top up because they receive PKH assistance, yes, PKH will be top up 100 times 3 months for IDR 300 thousand in April this must be completed before May ," he explained.

Previously, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos), Harry Hikmat said, direct cash assistance (BLT) for cooking oil through the Ministry of Social Affairs would be distributed through PT Pos Indonesia.

Harry said, after being launched by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on Thursday, April 7, BLT cooking oil will begin to be distributed this April. Finally, BLT is confirmed to be completed on April 21.

"If you look at the existing stages, if the three months are April, May and June, now this is paid directly in April and the disbursement of BLT cooking oil will be carried out from the 4th to the 21st and yesterday was actually the 7th of its launch," said Harry at the conference. press via the Indonesian Economics YouTube channel, Friday, April 8.

His party will be assisted by the Director General of Handling the Poor and the Director General of Social Protection and Security (Dirjen Linjamsos) in distributing the cooking oil BLT.

"God willing, the Ministry of Social Affairs is ready to distribute this cooking oil BLT and integrated it in the distribution later between, until the 21st together with the basic food program or non-cash food assistance (BPNT)," he said.
