Sandiaga Uno Passes Anies Baswedan In The 2024 Presidential Election Survey, Is In Order 3

JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism Sandiaga Uno is in the order of the three most popular presidential candidates or has the highest electability for the 2024 Presidential Candidate. The percentage penetrated 21.7 percent in a survey conducted by the national survey agency Point Indonesia.

The results were taken from their latest survey with the title 5 Presidential Candidates or Presidential Candidates 2024 Public Choices. One of the most interesting things is that Sandiaga Uno is even ahead of one of the potential presidential candidates, Anies Baswedan, Monday 11 April.

In the simulation of 5 candidates in this survey, the most popular name is the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, with 28 percent. Then followed the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo with a figure of 24.1 percent.

Anies himself is below Sandiaga with only half the figure, which is 10.3 percent. Then the last one is the Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil with a figure of 7.2 percent.

The survey was conducted from 11 to 22 March 2022 using the Multistage Random Sampling method with a proportional distribution in 34 provinces. The number of sampling is 1,916 respondents and the margin of error is approximately 2.24 percent.

According to this survey, Sandiaga is considered one of the popular and well-liked figures so that it becomes a regular conversation.

"Indonesians want to see him run for President and believe he is a worthy candidate," said Usma, a senior researcher at Point Indonesia.

You could say this is a surprise when you compare the results of several other survey institutions. Last year, Chartapolitika conducted a survey on March 20-24 2021. This institution noted that Prabowo's electability was in the top position as a presidential candidate in 2024.

In a simulation of 12 names, the electability of the Minister of Defense is 19.6 percent. In the next position, there are Ganjar with 16 percent, Anies with 12.6 percent, Sandi with 9.3 percent, and Ridwan Kamil with 8.1 percent.

Then on April 3, 2022, there was Political Indicator announcing the results of their survey. In a simulation of 19 names, this survey places the top three names, namely Prabowo 22.4 percent, Ganjar 21.6 percent, and Anies 17.1 percent. Meanwhile, Sandiaga is in sixth place with 4.7 percent.

Then when it was reduced to 7 names, the top three names remained Prabowo, Ganjar, and Anies. The name of Password was not included in the simulation of the 7 names of the Political Indicator version.
