COVID-19 Update As Of April 10: New Cases 1,071, Healed 2,493

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. The cumulative total of cases stands at 6,032,707 since the first cases were announced on March 2. Meanwhile, new cases per day reached 1,071 people.

Meanwhile, the number of recovered cases today increased by 2,493 people, bringing the total to 5,804,402 people recovered. Meanwhile, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 29 people and a total to 155,626 people.

Meanwhile, the province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta, with 370 new cases and a total of 1,243,517 cases. Consists of 340 local transmissions and 30 foreign travelers (PPLN).

Followed by West Java with 233 new cases and a total of 1,102,548 cases. It consists of 231 local transmissions and 2 PPLN.

Then, Banten had 104 new cases and a total of 291,123 cases. Consists of local transmission 104 and 0 PPLN.

Next is East Java with 81 new cases and a total of 574,575 cases. Consists of 80 local transmissions and 1 PPLN.

Then, Central Java had 59 new cases and a total of 625,693 cases were recorded. Consists of local transmission 59 and 0 PPLN.

The province with the most recovered cases today is DKI Jakarta with an increase of 595 cases. Then, followed by West Java with 398 recovered cases. Then, Banten with an additional 281 cases, and Central Java with 276 cases recovered.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined per day is 102,152. Meanwhile, cumulatively it reached 61,255,169. As for the details, 23,027,418 were examined by RT-PCR, 247,465 by the TMC method, and 37,980,286 people were tested for antigen.

"For the number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, it is recorded at 3,068 people", it wrote.

Then, the weekly positivity rate for people from April 3 to 9, 2022 is 2.37 percent. Meanwhile, the daily positivity rate for people is 1.43 percent.

Currently, the number of people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination has increased by 89,019 and the total has reached 197,493,411, and the second dose of vaccination has increased by 90,366, the cumulative total has reached 161,423,404. Then the third dose of vaccination increased by 575,334 and the total reached 27,008,873. Meanwhile, the vaccination target reached 208,265,720 people.
