JAKARTA - Russian neo-Nazi soldiers are reportedly involved in the war in Ukraine. This militia group called Rusich is known to often collect the enemy's ears for trophies to take home.

The Mirror reported that Rusich was spotted on the Russia-Ukraine border. Not far from the temporary stop of the military led by Vladimir Putin who is expected to launch the next attack.

Earlier this week, Rusich's soldiers were also seen crossing into Kharkiv in military vehicles marked 'Z'. Ukraine's top military officials have been preparing for an attack in the region.

The neo-Nazi mercenary movement was a result of the Russian military starting to withdraw from the area around the capital Kyiv after weeks of failing to occupy the city.

Rusich is known to have ties to the Wagner Group, a private military company backed by the Kremlin. The Wagner Group is said to have 1,000 troops and is running operations in eastern Ukraine.

While Rusich is estimated to consist of hundreds of mercenaries who wear the symbol of valknut on their military uniforms, as an identity of white supremacists.

Later, Rusich published an advertisement inviting him to join them. The ad featured a cartoon of a Russian soldier who had just returned from Ukraine in a bloodied uniform.

“If you are a real man and a Russian, join our ranks. You will shed liters of blood belonging to the vile Russophobia [anti-Russian sentiment], and become rich and cool," the ad narrates.

Early formed

Rusich was founded by two Red Army paratroopers Aleksei Milchakov, then 30, and Yan Petrovsky, 33. The two actively met in the Russian Imperial Movement.

Milchakov and Petrovsky eventually became a solid couple who founded Rusich after returning from a white supremacist event in St. Petersburg nearly a decade ago.

Rusich's name rose to prominence after being involved in a war between Moscow-backed separatists and the Ukrainian military in 2014.

Rusich's founder, Milchakov was known to be ruthless. According to The Times report, he often uploads gruesome photos of cutting the ears of dead enemy soldiers.

Milchakov also often shows his busy carving kolovrat, the swastika symbol of the Slavs. Milchakov's documentation was only uploaded to the Russian-made social media account, Vkontakte.

The profile picture of Milchakov's Vkontakte account shows him as a teenager cutting off a puppy's head.
