Bareskrim Seizes Assets Of Lot Of Land Belonging To Indosurya KSP Suspects Worth Rp. 18 Billion

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police has again confiscated the assets of the suspect in the fraudulent investment case of the Indosurya Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP), Hery Surya. The assets are in the form of land plots worth Rp. 18 billion.

"Investigators confiscated assets (in the form of, red) plots L No 57 and 58 in Kertamaya Village, South Bogor, Bogor Regency, on behalf of HS with a land area of 2,000 square meters. The price reached Rp 18 billion," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division Kombes Gatot Repli Handoko to reporters, Friday, April 8th.

Investigators also completed the administrative requirements to confiscate two Sudirman Suite Apartments. Completion by applying for permission from the court.

In addition, investigators will also examine other witnesses. One of them is the apartment developer.

"Investigators conducted an examination of the developer witnesses regarding these assets," said Gatot.

Investigators have also examined two new witnesses in the case on April 6. They have the initials T and JV.

"The witness, on behalf of the initials T, represents his wife as a victim of Indosurya, a loss of Rp. 6 billion," said Gatot.

"The two checks are on behalf of JV, as UOB's legal bank regarding the Indosurya transaction," he continued.

Previously, Bareskrim confiscated the building that was used as the office of the Indosurya Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP) worth IDR 1.2 trillion. This confiscation is related to the eradication of money laundering (TPPU) related to the alleged investment fraud case.

The confiscation is carried out after obtaining permission from the court. A total of 13 assets have been confiscated, including the building located at Jalan MH Thamrin number 3, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

In addition, investigators have also blocked several accounts belonging to the suspects with a total balance of IDR 42 billion. Then, dozens of luxury cars were also confiscated.
