Indra Kenz Case Files Started To Be Examined By Prosecutors 2 Days Ago

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police has begun to hand over the case files for the fraudulent investment case under the guise of Binomo trading with the suspect Indra Kesuma alias Indra Kenz to the Attorney General's Office (AGO). The first stage of the process was carried out two days ago.

"It is necessary to convey that the case file for brother IK has been transferred to the Public Prosecutor's Office on April 6, 2022," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division Kombes Gatot Repli Handoko to reporters, Friday, April 8.

With this phase one delegation, it means that the Indra Kenz case file is being examined by the research prosecutor regarding its completeness.

If it is declared complete, the investigator must carry out stage two or hand over the suspect and evidence. However, otherwise, the investigator must complete the case file.

In this case, Indra Kenz is accused of Article 45 paragraph 1 juncto 28 of Law 19 of 2016 concerning ITE. Then, Article 378 of the Criminal Code on fraud.

There is also Law No. 8 of 2010 concerning money laundering offences. The application of this article is an effort to impoverish the perpetrators of criminal acts so that there is a deterrent effect.

For information, in this case there are a total of four suspects. First, Indra Kesuma alias Indra Kenz. He is an affiliate of Binomo.

Then, Fakar Suhartami Pratama alias Fakarich. In this case, he plays the role of teacher or mentor of Indra Kenz.

Furthermore, Brian Edgar Nababan who plays the role of Development Manager for Binomo. He also recruited Indra Kenz and Fakar as affiliates.

Most recently, investigators named Wiki as a suspect. He acts as admin of Indra Kenz's telegram account.
