TANGSEL - The police have arrested a dozen minors. They were arrested because they wanted to do a brawl just before dawn in the Pondok Aren area, South Tangerang.
Pondok Aren Police Chief Commissioner Dimas Aditya said the incident occurred Thursday, April 7, at 02.00 WIB.
"The brawl consisted of 12 people, minors from Jurang Mangu who fought youths from Cikini," said Dimas when confirmed, Thursday, April 7.
During the arrest, the police secured evidence in the form of golf clubs, sharp weapons of the type of sickle and a sheath filled with stones.
"We secured a sickle shaped knife, a stick stick, 5 sarongs tied with stones," he said.
Now the dozens of minors are still being held by the Pondok Aren Sector Police for questioning.
"We're safe, we'll check their identity, then we'll take their fingerprints. Then tomorrow we'll call their parents and teachers, RT, RW to pick up these young people. So that we can return them to their parents for us to give an appeal," he said.
