School Guard Found Dead Hanging Before The Call To Prayer For Iftar In Cakung

JAKARTA - A middle-aged man who worked as a school custodian at a public junior high school in Jalan Pendidikan, RW 05, Pulogebang, Cakung District, East Jakarta, was found hanging dead. The victim was desperate to end his life before sunset, Wednesday April 6, yesterday.

"The identity of the victim has the initials YL, he is 43 years old," said Cakung Police Chief Kompol Satria Darma when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, April 7, morning.

From the results of the identification of the victim's body by members of the East Jakarta Metro Police when conducting a crime scene (TKP) no signs of abuse were found on the victim's body.

"No violence was found. Meanwhile, the victim is suspected to have committed suicide," said Kompol Satria.

From the results of checking at the scene, the police also did not find a will that was left by the victim. So that the motive for the suicide can not be known by the Cakung Police.

"We are still investigating the motive," he said.

The police chief explained that the YL victim worked as a guard at a junior high school in the Cakung area.

"He (the victim) is a school guard, he lives in a junior high school. The crime scene at the junior high school was," he said.

Until now, the case of finding a suicide victim is still under investigation by the Cakung Police Headquarters.
