Mayor Eri Cahyadi Prays Tarawih Around The Mosque In Surabaya

SURABAYA - Surabaya Mayor Eri Cahyadi conducted a Ramadan safari and one of them was by attending Tarawih prayers around mosques in 31 sub-districts of Surabaya City, East Java.

"Surabaya has now entered PPKM (implementation of restrictions on community activities) Level 1, God willing, we can do Eid al-Fitr later," said Mayor Eri Cahyadi, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, April 6.

Mayor Eri's Ramadhan Safari started at the Sudirman Mosque on Jalan Dharmawangsa, Gubeng District, Surabaya, on Monday (4/4) night. Then proceed to the Tholabudin Mosque on Jalan Rungkut Lor 110 on Tuesday (5/4).

As planned, on Wednesday night, Mayor Eri will perform Tarawih prayers at the NU Al Hikmah Mosque on Jl. KH. Said Agil Siradj, Wonokromo District, Surabaya.

In each of the mosques he visited, Eri expressed his deepest gratitude to the residents of the City of Surabaya, because currently the City of Surabaya has entered PPKM Level 1. According to Eri, this success is thanks to the prayers of all residents of the City of Surabaya.

Mayor Eri also asked residents to report to the sub-district and village heads when they meet neighbors or relatives who need help. For Eri, the Surabaya City Government cannot work alone without the help and involvement of the citizens of the City of Surabaya.

"I also hope that we all work together to maintain the safety and comfort of this city, because until now there are still young people who want to fight. In fact, this is the month of fasting which must be able to restrain ourselves. If we can refrain from lust So, God willing, we can protect this city," he said.

In addition, Mayor Eri also asked for prayers to the residents for the good of the City of Surabaya and the citizens of the City of Surabaya.

"Please pray for the city of Surabaya and all the citizens of Surabaya so that they can achieve happiness in this world and the hereafter," he said.
