JAKARTA - The Ministry of Defense of Russia may deny that it has carried out the massacre of civilians in the settlement of Bucha City in the Kyiv region. But satellite photos published by the US company, Maxar Technologies, have different evidence.

The satellite photo, carried out by photo analysis by AFP as quoted by The Moscow Times, refutes Russia's claim that the bodies in civilian clothes found in Bucha emerged after Kremlin troops withdrew from the devastated Ukrainian city.

Mid-March satellite images from Bucha Street appear to show several civilian bodies lying dead on or off the road. The find caused a stir after Ukrainian officials recently said they had found many bodies after Russian troops withdrew.

"High-resolution Maxar satellite imagery collected in Bucha, Ukraine, (northwest of Kyiv) verifies and corroborates recent social media videos and photos that reveal bodies lying on the streets and left out in the open for weeks," it said. Maxar Technologies spokesman Stephen Wood. in a statement, Wednesday 6 April.

This media also cites an analysis from The New York Times on the condition of Yablonska Bucha Street. The conclusion - after comparing it to video footage from April 1 and 2 of corpses along the way - that many have been there since at least three weeks ago, when Russian Troops took control of the city.

Previously, the Kremlin said the photos and videos of Bucha were yet another fake created by the Kyiv government regime for Western media.

"All photos and videos allegedly proving the 'crimes' committed by Russian troops in Bucha City, Kiev region, which were released by the Kiev regime, constitute another provocation," the ministry said.

"The photos and videos of Bucha are fakes made by the Kiev regime for the Western media, just as it was done in Mariupol maternity homes and in other cities," the ministry stressed.
