DENPASAR- Denpasar, Bali Police Team raided a home industry that makes cookies/cookies from narcotics.

One perpetrator named Emanuel Chaesar Bagaskara (24) from Yogyakarta was arrested. The perpetrator was a narcotics recidivist in 2018.

Then, 80 pieces of cake were sent by the perpetrators via JNE and 20 to be consumed by the perpetrators themselves," he added. .

Meanwhile, the results of the Denpasar Police Labfor testing using FTIR show that the test sample contains organic compounds. Meanwhile, the GCMS test showed that the test sample contained 4en-pentyl MDA-19 and other minor contents.

"The test sample is insoluble in water and soluble in chloroform, the test sample was identified as an organic chemical containing 4en-pentyl MDA-19 and other minor ingredients," he said.

"The ADB-Fubiata contained in the package is indeed CBD, a derivative of marijuana. However, it has not been included in the attachment to Law Number 35 of 2009, concerning narcotics and the attachment of Minister of Health Regulation No. 4 of 2021 concerning changes to the classification of narcotics," he said.

"But if it is disclosed, it can serve as a warning to the Ministry of Health to be immediately included in the latest list of narcotics attachments (NPS). With this shipment from China, this indicates that a new type of NPS has entered Indonesia via Bali," he said.

While the sender of cookies is still being investigated by the police. Cookies are planned to be sold to customers in Jakarta.
