Ridwan Kamil Confident Ramadan 2045 Indonesia Becomes A Superpower

YOGYAKARTA - West Java Governor M. Ridwan Kamil believes that in Ramadan 2045 Indonesia will be proclaimed as one of the world's superpowers.

"During Ramadan 1945, Indonesia was proclaimed an independent country. In Ramadan 2045, God willing, it will be proclaimed a superpower," said Ridwan Kamil when he was a lecturer ahead of the Tarawih prayer at the Gadjah Mada University (UGM) Yogyakarta Campus Mosque as reported by Antara, Tuesday, April 5.

Kang Emil's belief, as Ridwan Kamil is called, is based on the position of the Indonesian economy, which is currently ranked 16th among the G20 member countries.

If Indonesia can continue to maintain peace and avoid quarrels, he estimates that in the next 10 years Indonesia's economic ranking in the G20 will climb to 10th position.

However, Kang Emil continued, there are three conditions that must be met to make Indonesia a superpower in 2045.

"First, the human resources must be of high quality, there should be no stunting (tengkes). Stunting is physically not growing, the brain is weak, thinking it must be the target of social assistance (social assistance). he said.

Second, said the Governor of West Java, the economy in Indonesia must be in the form of a superior economy consisting of the digital economy, green economy, creative economy, and industrial downstream economy.

The last requirement, he continued, is the most difficult one, which is to be able to make the social and political situation in Indonesia conducive or not to have a lot of riots.

"There should not be many fights. I urge all the souls here to reduce their desire to fight. From their thumbs, from their minds, from their movements, avoid the desire to fight," he said in front of the congregation.

These three messages are especially emphasized to Generation Z or residents born in the 1997-2012 period because according to him, they will play the main role when Indonesia becomes a superpower.

"I entrust it if it is true that in 1945 Indonesia was proclaimed a superpower, you are the one who holds the gold flag. The key is only one, don't fight often," said Kang Emil.
