BOGOR - The Regency Government (Pemkab) of Bogor, West Java, is determined to advance remote areas using the One Billion One Village or Samisade program, which is entering its second year of implementation.

"Through Samisade, development in villages is more visible, road access is wide open, and community activities are facilitated," said Bogor Regent Ade Yasin in Cibinong, Antara, Monday, April 4.

The Bogor Regency Government in 2022 has budgeted IDR 395 billion for the Samisade program which will be distributed to 765 points in 415 villages throughout Bogor Regency.

"Please use this well by the village to improve infrastructure in the village, by involving the community for development," said Ade Yasin.

In 2021, the village financial assistance program is budgeted through the Village Community Empowerment Service (DPMD) worth IDR 372 billion for 415 villages, to stimulate infrastructure development.

The program succeeded in building 473.7 kilometers of village roads, 362 meters of bridges, 8,005 meters of retaining walls (TPT), 4,297 meters of drainage canals, and 1,700 meters of irrigation canals.

Meanwhile, a member of the Bogor Regency Development Acceleration Team, Saepudin Muhtar alias Gus Udin, emphasized that his region's Building Village Index (IDM) now has "advanced" status thanks to the Bogor Building Karsa program.

"In 2020, Bogor's IDM status is still growing with a value of 0.7001. But the following year we have advanced status with a value of 0.7307," he said.

Gus Udin said that the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia stated that Bogor Regency now has 48 independent villages, 188 developed villages, 180 developing villages, and zero underdeveloped villages.

According to him, this condition illustrates a lot of progress compared to previous years. In 2020 there were 29 villages with independent status, 131 developed villages, 252 developing villages, and four underdeveloped villages.

According to him, the Bogor Regency Government (Pemkab) was able to raise the status of 41 underdeveloped villages into developing and developed villages since Regent Ade Yasin started running the government in 2019.

Then, in mid-2021, the remaining four villages with the status of being left behind also rose to the status of developing villages, namely Cilaku Village in Tenjo District, Wirajaya in Jasinga District, and Sukarasa and Buanajaya in Tanjungsari District.
