Second Day Of Fasting Month, Takjil Traders At Tangerang Old Market Smile Sumringah Get A Profit Of IDR 3 Million Per Day

TANGERANG - Food traders at the Old Market in Tangerang City admitted that they experienced an increase when selling takjil this year. Even the profit reaches Rp. 3 million in a day.

Firda, one of the takjil traders, said that his sales are currently increasing compared to the previous year. The woman who sells grilled rice daily revealed that the results from selling fruit ice, compote, pinch cakes to fried foods sold out well until 17.00 WIB.

"Yes, it's pretty good, Alhamdulillah. Not like last year," said Firda when met at the location, Monday, April 4.

Firda said that after only two days of selling, she made a profit of Rp. 3 million. Unlike last year, a day only made a profit of Rp. 200 thousand.

"Yesterday, COVID-19 was really bad, right. Now it's better, Alhamdulillah, I've made a profit," he said.

The same thing was said by another takjil trader, Riri. He said that many customers hunted for merchandise.

"It's been pretty good this year, yesterday I was just too overwhelmed to serve it," he said.

Riri hopes that this situation will continue to improve and that there will not be an increase in COVID-19 which causes street vendors to suffer.

"The hope is that it will be more advanced. Come on, there's no need for COVID-19 anymore, because it's a headache for street vendors. That's all, let's move forward so that everything runs smoothly, the important thing is to be healthy," he said.
