JAKARTA – WST (29) could only look down when he was carried away by members of the Gambir Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Reskrim). The man in the uniform of the Central Jakarta Metro Police detainee admitted that he had burned the Lenggang Jakarta kiosk because he was jealous of his girlfriend with the initials DL (male) who already had another man.

"Yes, I am jealous of Lubis (DL) because he is close to someone (a man)," WST told reporters, Monday, April 4.

WST said that before the fire occurred, he had a riot with DL near the kiosk. WST's anger was getting so high that he decided to burn DL's stall.

"Yes, it was my kiosk that was burned, but only to Dasril Lubis's stall," WST admitted.

WST stated that he was a same-sex partner. WST also admitted that he had been acquainted with DL for 6 months through social media.

"We are gay, if I were the boy and Dasril Lubis the girl. We always have sex in the kiosk once a week," he said.

Currently, the Police are still investigating the statement of the suspect WST. The police are also still investigating the motive for jealousy, which is acknowledged by the suspect.

Deputy Head of Central Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Setyo said the motive was still being investigated, but the statement stated that it was because of jealousy.

"Whether this is jealousy of who and what, we are still investigating," said AKBP Setyo to VOI, Monday, April 4.

Furthermore, AKBP Setyo said, WST was not an employee at DL's kiosk. This WST suspect is related to a friend with DL.

"From the test results, alcohol has not been found, drugs (urine) are also not present," said Setyo.
