TANGERANG - Tangerang City implemented 100 percent face-to-face learning (PTM) from PAUD to SMP levels starting today, Monday, April 4, 2022. The decision was made after an evaluation.

"PTM with 100 percent capacity has begun. We have coordinated this with all schools and the task force," said Head of the Tangerang City Education Office, Jamaluddin, when contacted Monday, April 4.

He said that although currently easing has been done, the implementation of health protocols remains a priority. Therefore, the students will continue to be monitored by the teacher and the task force.

Based on the data he received, the daily cases of COVID-19 in Tangerang City experienced a decline. Therefore, the education office evaluated PTM and decided that it could carry out PTM with 100 percent capacity.

"Later, there will still be temperature checks, the use of masks and hand washing for students when they enter school. The Task Force will continue to carry out surveillance," he said, as reported by Antara.

The Tangerang City Education Office has also coordinated with regional officials in conducting joint supervision so that the implementation of PTM with 100 percent capacity runs smoothly. "We make sure the rules during the pandemic will still be implemented," he said.

Then he also appealed to students who have not carried out complete vaccinations to register immediately. Currently, the first dose of vaccine is 89 percent, the second dose is 80 percent for students. Meanwhile, vaccination teachers have reached 99 percent and the rest have comorbidities.

"We are also collecting data for the number of students who received this vaccination. We will provide advice and socialization from every school so that this vaccination can be followed by all students," he said.
