Ustaz Firanda Calls Non-Muslim KTPs Go To Hell, Social Media Activists: Poor Saudi Arabian People, Everyone Don't Have KTPs

JAKARTA - Social media activist Eko Kuntadhi spoke about the content of the preacher Firanda Andirja's lecture to his loyal congregation. Firanda said, those who have non-Muslim identity cards (KTP) will go to hell while those with Islamic ID cards will get light.

Eko commented on Firanda's statement in a relaxed language. He said not all Muslims in the world have ID cards issued by the Indonesian government.

"Poor Saudis. They all don't have ID cards," he wrote on his Twitter account, @_ekokuntadhi, Sunday, April 3.

Eko did not stop there. He again chirped in a joking tone commenting on Firanda's statement.

He seemed to say that ID cards are not a guarantee that Muslims will go to heaven or hell. The decision is the full right of Allah SWT.

"In fact, if you want to go to heaven, you just need to scan the Care to Protect barcode first," joked Eko.

Firanda alluded to those who would go to heaven and hell based on their ID cards in a lecture. Firanda's statement was recorded in a video circulating on social media.

"Those whose ID cards are non-Muslims will go straight to hell, they don't have to go through Sirot," Firanda said in the video.

Firanda Andirja's lectures often cause controversy. As a result, Firanda was rejected in a number of areas.
