JAKARTA - The administrator of the Grand Mosque KH Hasyim Asy'ari sprayed disinfectant liquid throughout the mosque before holding the tarawih prayer activity which will start tonight.

"We have sprayed disinfectant on all sides to prepare for today's tarawih prayer. We have also prepared temperature gauges," said Head of the Hasyim Asy'ari Mosque's Integrated Management Unit, Dikki Syafrin, quoted by Antara, Saturday, April 2.

Dikki said the preparations were made so that the tarawih service tonight could take place safely and comfortably.

Even to ensure visitors comply with health protocols, his party also provides masks for congregants who come without wearing masks.

Dikki estimates that the congregations present today will explode considering that currently the management does not limit the number of people who come

"The maximum capacity is 2,500 pilgrims. But we don't know how many pilgrims are coming today," he said.

In addition to holding tarawih prayers, his party will also hold several activities during the month of Ramadan.

Several religious activities will also be held by the Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM).

His party will also distribute takjil and iftar together with residents around the mosque.
