Ancol Area Still Open During Ramadan, Check Here About Operational Hours

JAKARTA - It is confirmed that Ancol Dreamland Park will continue to operate during Ramadan 1443 Hijri. However, there are a number of adjustments given that the COVID-19 pandemic is still lurking.

President Director of PT Taman Impian Jaya Ancol Budi Aryanto said all recreation units opened 75 percent of their maximum capacity. This policy is to maintain health protocols for visitors during Ramadan.

"We are happy to continue to serve visitors this Ramadan. We hope that Ancol can be a place to share joy and happiness in this blessed month," said Budi, as quoted by Antara, Saturday, April 2.

Ancol management is also still implementing a ticket purchase mechanism that can only be done online. In addition to reducing the risk of COVID-19 transmission, this regulation is also a form of digital transformation in payment transactions carried out by Ancol management.

Visitors can order and pay directly through the www.ancol.com website or through the Ancol Apps application. During Ramadan 2022, Ancol offers visitors who buy two entrance tickets to get a special promo starting from Rp. 40,000.

Given the 75 percent capacity limit, visitors are encouraged to book tickets several days before their visit online. Visitors are also required to scan a barcode sticker to check in via the PeduliLindung application when entering the Ancol gate.

Only visitors with the green color category status or who have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are allowed to enter the Ancol area, except for visitors who have not been able to receive the vaccine for health reasons.

Children under the age of 12 can still travel in Ancol with the condition that they must be accompanied by parents who have green status. In addition, for children aged 6-12 years, they are currently required to show proof of vaccination at least the first dose.

Visitors are still required to carry out the procedure in accordance with the provisions, namely using masks in accordance with government recommendations, maintaining distance and preventing crowds and diligently washing hands with soap or "hand sanitizer".
