TANJUNGPINANG - The Tanjungpinang City Government, Riau Islands Province (Kepri) issued a circular (SE) Number 331.1/262/6.2.03/2022 regarding the Regulation of Operating Hours for Entertainment Places and Restaurants or the like in the month of Ramadan 1443 Hijriah/2022 AD. nightclubs, pubs, bars, karaoke and massage parlors are closed during Ramadan, except for hotel facilities that can operate from 21.00 to 24.00 WIB," said Tanjungpinang Mayor Rahma in a statement in Tanjungpinang, Saturday, April 2. which was signed by the Mayor of Tanjungpinang Rahma on March 31, 2022.

The SE stated that business owners of entertainment venues such as karaoke, billiards, internet cafes, spas, reflexology, massage parlors, and cinemas were closed for five days, namely two days at the beginning of Ramadan, one night in the middle of Ramadan (Nuzul Quran), and two days in the middle of Ramadan (Nuzul Quran). day at the end of Ramadan.

The establishment of operating hours during Ramadan for entertainment venues such as internet cafes, spas, reflexology, and cinemas, except massage for the blind, starts operating at 08.00 WIB until 22.00 WIB.

Meanwhile, restaurant businesses such as restaurants, food courts, cafes and coffee shops are equipped with TV entertainment facilities, karaoke, and single organ so that they do not activate their musical instruments starting at 19.00 WIB.

Then, restaurants or the like do not use cloth or curtains.

"Owners of stalls, restaurants and cafes are asked not to sell liquor/alcoholic, traditional drinks such as palm wine during Ramadan," he said, quoted by Antara.

In the SE, the mayor also appealed to business owners to provide hand washing facilities or hand sanitizers that meet health standards. Visitors are also advised to keep their distance and must wear masks.

Regarding the implementation of the Ramadan bazaar, the mayor continued, it will be coordinated by each task force responsible for the implementation.

Business actors who violate the circular, said Rahma, will be subject to sanctions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Separately, the Head of the Tanjungpinang City Civil Service Police (Satpol PP) Ahmad Yani said that his party together with a joint team of TNI and Polri would supervise the activities stipulated in the circular letter of the mayor of Tanjungpinang during Ramadan.

If there is a violation, then there will be action according to Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 7 of 2018 and Mayor's Regulation (Perwako) 10/2019.

"Starting tonight, the Satpol PP together with a joint team of the TNI and Polri will go down to carry out surveillance," he said.
