National Police Chief Hopes Precision Building Can Optimize Public Services

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo inaugurated the main building of the Presisi Polda South Sumatra (Sumsel) and the Bhayangkara M. Hasan Hospital (RS). The existence of this building and hospital is expected to improve public services.

"We have a good building, then a good hospital, we continue to maintain it, have a sense of belonging (a sense of belonging, ed.), so that it can be used for the benefit of the community by providing the best service, treating and immediately healing sick members, and also people who need it, and of course we hope that the service life can also be long," said Sigit in a written statement quoted by Antara, Friday, April 1.

The National Police Chief emphasized that providing optimal service to the community and the internal police is a shared task. All shortcomings must be corrected, and what is already good will be further improved.

According to Sigit, the construction of this building is very useful as a form of providing better and optimal public services. In the new building there is a Command Center room which is integrated with 358 surveillance cameras or CCTV in the city of Palembang.

The National Police Chief hopes that the police ranks can be more optimal in maintaining the security situation and public order (kamtibmas).

The Command Center, said Sigit continued, can provide better services by being connected to the ASAP Digital dashboard. Considering that South Sumatra is one of the areas prone to forest and land fires (karhutla).

"This multi-purpose building is also connected to the 110 assistance service center and the Songket application. In the future, we hope that the Command Center can be integrated with the Command Center at Police Headquarters. Currently, we are continuing to strive to integrate the Command Center so that everything can be connected," he said.

The National Police Chief also revealed that the construction of this building has consequences and is the hope of many people for the performance of the National Police in the future.
