SEMARANG – The Director of General Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimum) of the Central Java Police Kombes Djuhandani recounted the chronology of the robbery and murder carried out by Rismatoro (24) against Supriono (38), a security guard at the camera shop Focus Nusantara, Semarang, Central Java.

From the results of the officer's investigation, it was revealed that the perpetrator before carrying out his action had studied the situation he was targeting. At that time, Rismantoro entered the shop yard and pretended to be staying at the place.

"From the beginning, this perpetrator had planned the theft, as evidenced by the results of the examination (confession) and the evidence obtained from the perpetrator (welding equipment and others)," he explained.

When the victim was careless, continued Djuhandani, Rismanto hit the victim's head with a rock three times until the victim was unconscious. According to the data received, after hitting the victim's head, Rismanto also slit the victim's throat, stabbed the victim in the chest 6 times, slashed the back of the neck three times.

"After carrying out the action, the perpetrator saw the victim, who was initially face down, turned into his back. By the perpetrator, the victim was then stabbed several times with a sharp weapon until he finally died," explained Djuhandani.

After successfully immobilizing the victim, Rismanto carried out his action by breaking into the Focus Nusantara store and taking several cameras and other valuable objects stored in the window.

Djuhandani said, the motive for the perpetrators was to take possession of items such as cameras and other equipment.

"Based on the perpetrator's information, items such as cameras and so on. The plan will be for their own use and some of them will be sold, because this actor happens to understand multimedia," he added.

From the hands of the perpetrators, the officers secured evidence from the crime in the form of 3 cameras, 1 drone, 2 camera lenses and others. In addition, the officers also secured welding equipment, folding knives, and motorbikes belonging to the perpetrators as a means of committing crimes.

For his actions, the perpetrators were charged with Article 365 paragraph (4) and Article 339 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of death or life imprisonment or a maximum of 20 years in prison.

Kombes Djuhandani revealed that the perpetrators who work as artists and painters were arrested at his home in Karangsambung, Kebumen.

"About 3 hours after receiving the report, the perpetrator was successfully secured at his house along with camera evidence and others," said Djuhandani. Officers got the identity of the perpetrator through photos of faces and ID cards that were spread in WhatsApp groups. Because, it is known, before the incident, the victim took a photo of the perpetrator's face along with an identity card (KTP).
