JAKARTA - The Bayah area of Banten was again shaken by an earthquake. This is the third earthquake in a month.

Aftershocks rocked Banten Province with a magnitude of 5.1 as of 14:14 WIB, Friday April 1st. This earthquake is an aftershock that previously also occurred a few hours ago.

Viewed on the infoBMKG Twitter account, this earthquake was at a depth of 10 kilometers at 35 kilometers southwest of Bayah, Banten. This earthquake has no potential for a tsunami.

This earthquake was felt as far as Jakarta. A resident who was in the Central Jakarta area felt dizzy when the information about this earthquake occurred.

Previously, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5 shook Bayah at 11.54 WIB. This earthquake was felt in the Pelabuhan Ratu area, Bekasi, to Bogor.

Previously, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.8 hit Bayah, Lebak Regency, Monday, February 28 at 22:38 WIB. Then the following earthquake shook the Bayah area, Banten. The 5.3 magnitude (M) earthquake occurred on Saturday, March 12, at 12.31 WIB.
