PAN Spokesperson Febri Wahyuni: The Writing Is Purely A Typo, I Really Respect Minister Of Religion Gus Yaqut

JAKARTA - PAN DPP spokesman Febri Wahyuni spoke up after a tweet on his Twitter account @UniEbby was highlighted after writing the name of the Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas or Gus Yaqut with 'Yakult.'

This tweet appeared when Febri Wahyuni replied to a video containing the meeting of Minister of Religion Yaqut with Nadiem Makarim. The meeting was the first step in coordination to discuss the issue of removing the phrase Madrasah from the draft bill.

According to him, the tweet "Well, it's good to have coordination with Yakult… wkwkwk Mandatory Bill Revision!!" the video is purely a typo, there is no tendency whatsoever towards the Minister of Religion Yaqut.

"My tweet is my personal rebuttal, the writing is pure typo. I don't mean to be inappropriate, I can't insult state officials. From the 2019 election I have supported the government, it is impossible for me to insult state officials," said Febri Wahyuni when contacted VOI, Thursday, March 31 evening.

Febri said that the typo did not need to be associated with the party because it was a personal argument. After all, in his comments, he did not substantially criticize the material from the meeting.

"We support the progress of the current cabinet work program. And personally I really respect Gus Yaqut as Minister of Religion. It's just a personal rebuttal justifying Mas Nadiem's words that the Minister of Education and Culture should coordinate with the Minister of Religion regarding the National Education System Bill," explained Febri.

One of the harshest criticisms of this wrong tweet came from the 'thumbs up' of social media activist, Chusnul Chotimah. Chusnul even invited the Versatile Ansor Front (Banser) throughout Indonesia not to vote for PAN in the upcoming election because of the poor quality of its spokesperson.

"For Banser friends throughout Indonesia, in the next election, tell the whole family not to choose the PAN party, look at the quality of the spokesman who has no manners towards the minister of religion Gus Yaqut," said Chusnul in his Twitter account, @ChusnulCh__, Thursday, March 31.

Besides Banser, Chusnul also invited residents in the bluebird application not to vote for PAN. Because, so far, Minister of Religion Yaqut has been at the forefront of fighting radical groups.

"Not only Banser, but also for friends here who have always idolized Gus

@YaqutCQoumas Because of the firmness against radical groups, please tell our whole family, don't choose @PartaiPAN @ZUL_Hasan," he asserted.
