Suspecting An Unpleasant Odor From Inside The House, Residents Break Down The Door And Find The Woman's Body Swollen

SERANG - Residents of Aweh Village, Aweh Village, Kalanganyar District, Lebak Regency, on Wednesday (30/03) afternoon, at around 17.00 WIB, were suddenly excited because the body of a woman named Ambarwati was found. The Lebak Police Satreskrim, who received a report, immediately processed the crime scene (TKP).

The Lebak Police Chief, AKBP Wiwin Setiawan, confirmed the discovery of a woman's body on behalf of Ambarwati.

"According to the testimony of the witness, at 16.00 WIB, he suspected a smell in the front area of the house, then the witness informed Komarudin further, the witness and other residents visited the location of the building where the victim was staying," explained Wiwin in a written statement.

"Once at the crime scene, the witness saw from the window of the side room occupied by the victim, there was an unpleasant odor. Next, the witness immediately forced the front door of the room open. After the door opened, it was seen that the victim was already dead, lying on the floor of the room in a state of death. "The corpse was swollen and had a very strong stench. The victim when he was found was wearing a gray short t-shirt and black shorts," explained Wiwin.

Wiwin also explained that after the crime scene was carried out, the body was immediately rushed to the Adjidarmo Rangkasbitung General Hospital, Lebak Regency, Banten. However, Wiwin said that he did not explain the cause of Ambarwati's death.

Wiwin only said that the family had accepted what had happened was a disaster and refused an autopsy. The body is buried immediately.
