JAKARTA - The Head of the Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) Polri Inspector General Firman Shantyabudi inspects traffic security for the G20 Summit which will be held in Bali, November 2022.
"We are now conducting a direct inspection at the location with the Operations Division at GWK, which is planned to be used later for one of the series of G20 Presidencies," said Firman in a written statement quoted by Antara, Thursday, March 31.
A number of locations were also visited by Firman and his entourage, including the Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) and Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK).
Firman said this was to ensure the implementation of the G20 Summit in Bali could run well and optimally.
There are also checks carried out including entry and exit routes, road infrastructure, parking locations, to technical drop offs. Firman emphasized that all potential obstacles ahead of the G20 Summit will be overcome.
"We make sure technical matters with the Bali Police Chief are to combine all existing potentials so that we eliminate all possible obstacles," said Firman.
Firman explained that the Korlantas Polri also collaborates with cross-sectors to optimize all tools and applications, one of which is Electronic Ticketing (ETLE).
