Case Of Minister Of Religion Yaqut Becoming 'Yakult,' Social Media Activist Invites Complete Banser With Family Don't Vote For PAN In Election

JAKARTA - Social Media Activist Chusnul Chotimah was incensed by the tweet of DPP PAN spokesman Febri Wahyuni who mentioned the name of the Minister of Religion, Yaqut Cholil Qoumas as 'Yakult.

Chusnul invited the Versatile Ansor Front (Banser) throughout Indonesia not to vote for PAN in the upcoming election because of the poor quality of its spokesperson.

"For Banser friends throughout Indonesia, in the next election, tell the whole family not to choose the PAN party, look at the quality of the spokesman who has no manners towards the minister of religion Gus Yaqut," said Chusnul in his Twitter account, @ChusnulCh__, Thursday, March 31.

Besides Banser, Chusnul also invited residents in the bluebird application not to vote for PAN. This is because, so far, Minister of Religion Yaqut has been at the forefront of fighting radical groups.

Previously, Febri Wahyuni was ridiculed because of a tweet on his Twitter account regarding 'Yakult.' Initially, Febri Wahyuni Febri Wahyuni replied to a video containing the meeting of Minister of Religion Yaqut with Nadiem Makarim. The meeting was the first step in coordination to discuss the issue of removing the phrase Madrasah from the draft bill.

This tweet clearly invites scorn from netizens because they feel that the person concerned has deliberately distorted the name of the Minister of Religion Yaqut to become Yakult.

Receiving the 'attack', Febri Wahyuni then clarified that when he tweeted he used a Samsung cellphone. As a result, the word that should have been Yaqut became Yakult.

"Next time I'll do better. I didn't mean to be rude. When I realized the typo, it turned out to be too busy... it's okay to focus on mistakes like this, so I'll be a student in the future. Hopefully my friends will also listen to my other more substantial tweets

"It's only natural that someone framing my tweet with a typo because of the auto text. However, the tweet was not meant to attack the Minister of Religion personally. It's purely a typo because it's auto text on my cellphone, I rarely type the word Yaqut. So far, I have often mentioned the word Minister of Religion," he defended himself.

After providing clarification, Febri Wahyuni then apologized by mentioning the Twitter name of the Minister of Religion Yaqut, @YaqutCQoumas. Ironically, in the next tweet, Febri Wahyuni even asked why Minister of Religion Yaqut didn't just use Cholil's name so that he wouldn't make a mistake when he tweeted.

"I'm allowed, mas. So there's a lot of typo, before Eid, let's forgive each other.. I'm sorry, mas, for making noise... I'm sorry,"
