Seven People Examined By The Maluku Prosecutor's Office For Corruption In The SBB KPUD Budget

AMBON - The Maluku High Prosecutor's Office has again examined seven people as witnesses in the alleged corruption case against the West Seram Regency KPUD budget for the 2014 fiscal year, which resulted in state financial losses amounting to Rp9 billion.

"Those examined as witnesses include the Head of PPK Inamosol with four members and two members of the 2014 Amalatu PPK," said Head of the Maluku Attorney General's Office for Legal Information and Public Relations, Wahyudi Kareba in Ambon, as reported by Antara, Thursday, March 31.

The investigation carried out by the prosecutor by summoning witnesses for questioning relates to allegations of financial irregularities related to the 2014 Legislative and Presidential Elections at the KPUD, West Seram Regency.

According to him, the examination of the witnesses carried out by the prosecutor is still related to the main duties of each witness as chairman and member of the PPK in the two sub-districts.

"Currently, no suspects have been named in this case because the prosecutor is still summoning a number of parties to be examined as witnesses," said Wahyudi.

Cooperation

Wahyudi added, Kajati Maluku DR. Mugopal Law has also signed a joint agreement (MoU) for the Civil and State Administration with PT. Maluku Energi Abadi (PT. MEA).

Also accompanying Kajati on the occasion, Wakajati, Assistants, KTU, Coordinators, JPN ranks, meanwhile, Director of PT. MEA (Perseroda), Ir. Mussalam Latuconsina together.

The signing of the collective agreement is an extension of the signing of the previous agreement and is carried out as a manifestation of one of the prosecutor's duties as a state attorney in providing legal assistance and legal services as well as a form of trust in PT. MEA (Perseroda) to the prosecutor's office to resolve Datun's cases in the future.

PT. MEA also expresses its gratitude to the Maluku Attorney General's Office Team who have assisted and supported in resolving PT MEA's legal problems so far.
