JAKARTA - The Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya has completed the preparation of the case file for the beating of the Chairman of the KNPI DPP, Haris Pertama. The case file has been transferred to the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati).
"This is only stage one (delegating files, ed)," said the Director of General Crimes of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Tubagus Ade Hidayat when confirmed, Wednesday, March 30.
The file is currently being examined by the research prosecutor. If complete, the prosecutor will order investigators to carry out phase two by delegating the suspect and evidence.
"We are still waiting from the Prosecutor's Office whether it has been declared complete or not," said Tubagus.
Haris Pertama was beaten when he was about to eat at the Garuda restaurant, Cikini, Central Jakarta. As a result of the beating, Haris suffered a wound on his forehead.
In handling this case, the police have arrested six suspects. They had the initials MS, JT, SS, and Irfan. However, another one is still a fugitive named Harvey.
