In Front Of Commission III Of The DPR, Chairman Of The Corruption Eradication Commission Firli Shows PNBP 2021 Exceeds Target, Deposits IDR 246 Billion To The State

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri reported to Commission III of the DPR that his institution generated Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) of Rp 246.299 billion throughout 2021.

Firli showed off because the realization of PNBP from the KPK exceeded the target by 244 percent. In fact, the PNBP target set by the KPK is IDR 100.9 billion.

"The realization in 2021 is IDR 246.299 billion, meaning that the achievement of non-tax state revenue from the KPK is up to 244 percent," said Firli in a working meeting with Commission III of the DPR, Wednesday, March 30.

Meanwhile, in 2022, Firli revealed that the KPK is targeting PNBP of Rp. 141.7 billion. Where the achievement has reached 64.9 percent or Rp. 91.967 billion as of March 24, 2022.

"However, the KPK is never complacent and will continue to increase PNBP with several optimization strategies to save state money," said Firli. Furthermore, Firli said, in the field of coordination and supervision, there are two programs carried out by the KPK to increase PNBP, namely optimizing regional revenues. and rescue/control of regional assets.

In 2020, said Firli, the two activities succeeded in optimizing revenue and saving potential state losses of a total of Rp. 114.28 trillion.

Meanwhile, in the prosecution and execution sector, Firli said that the Corruption Eradication Commission has carried out asset recovery or asset recovery resulting from corruption as well as handling grand corruption.

"The assets that were successfully returned by the KPK in 2021 consisted of fines, replacement money, and spoils of Rp. 237.7 billion as well as the determination of use status and grants of Rp. 182.2 billion," said Firli.
