Close To Zero Active COVID-19 Patients In Lebak, 60 People Remain

LEBAK - There are 60 active COVID-19 patients in Lebak Regency, Banten Province, or 12 fewer from 72 the day before. This was conveyed by the spokesman for the Lebak Regency COVID-19 Acceleration and Handling Task Force, Dr. Firman Rahmatullah. "The spread of COVID-19 in this area has decreased and many have recovered and no new cases have been found," said Firman in Lebak, Tuesday, March 29.

As many as 60 people who are active with COVID-19 are still undergoing isolation in a number of hospitals and are self-isolating at home under supervision and monitoring of the Village/Kelurahan Task Force and the local Health Center.

Although cases of the spread of COVID-19 in Lebak Regency are decreasing, entering the month of Ramadan, it is hoped that the community will remain disciplined in complying with health protocols to anticipate the spread of COVID-19.

"We ask the public to comply with the prokes, because it is certain that Ramadan activities tend to increase," he said, quoted by Antara.

He urged the public to continue to wear masks, wash their hands, keep their distance, reduce mobilization and avoid crowds (5M).

"People also, if it's not important to leave the area, it's better to stay at home during Ramadan and not hold iftar together because there will be crowds that have the potential to spread COVID-19," he said.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Task Force continues to hold prokes justice operations in crowded places. "We ask residents to obey the prokes and 5M during Ramadan to anticipate the spread of COVID-19," he explained.

The regional government together with the TNI, Polri, BIN, PPNI, SOEs, Entrepreneurs and Mass Organizations held a pick-up and drop-off vaccination to increase the vaccination target.
