SURABAYA - The Directorate of Drug Investigations (Ditreskoba) of the East Java Police revealed a case of drug trafficking in the type of ecstasy at the General Entertainment Recreational Area (RHU) Surabaya. Two suspects were arrested.

Meanwhile, Head of Sub-Directorate III of the East Java Police Ditreskoba Kompol Alex Sandi Siregar said that the total number of evidence that had been uncovered was 18 items with a total gross weight of 6.03 grams in cigarette packs.

"During the raid, the East Java Police Directorate of Narcotics arrested the IS suspect and several people who were in the same place, namely the initials AM, SA, CA and D2," he said.

Furthermore, the IS suspect along with several of his friends and other evidence were brought to the East Java Police Narcotics Directorate for further examination.

"However, only IS and AM have been named suspects," he said.

For his actions, the IS suspect was charged with Articles 114 and 112 of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. As for the suspect AM, the officers carried out rehabilitation at the National Narcotics Agency (BNN).
