Police Invite TNI And Community Leaders To Handle Brawl Problems

JAKARTA - Mass brawls or fights are an unresolved problem for law enforcement officials and a number of related parties. Usually, the impact of a brawl can cause injury to death.

The phenomenon of contemporary brawls is increasingly sophisticated. The perpetrators often make appointments with opponents via cellphones to a number of social media accounts. In fact, brawls can be broadcast live.

Responding to the brawls that routinely occur, especially in the Tamansari area, the Head of the Tamansari Metro Police AKBP Rohman Yonky Dilatha collaborated with a number of community leaders and other state officials.

"We form a joint commitment, with elements of the TNI, POLRI, RT, RW, Kelurahan, Subdistrict and related parties to eradicate the brawl in Tamansari," said AKBP Yonky when contacted by VOI, Sunday, March 27, morning.

He explained that the tradition of fighting between groups of residents and students had existed for a long time. This bad tradition continues to be indoctrinated and continues to this day.

Even brawls, continued the police chief, almost every day. Worse yet, the perpetrators of the brawl gallantly showed off their sharp weapons in the crowd.

"We and related agencies must play an active role, how from this joint declaration can we overcome the problem of brawls in the Tamansari area, West Jakarta. So that it can be minimized and even then we can eliminate it," said AKBP Yonky.

In the future, the Tamansari Police will also provide counseling to prevent brawls involving young people who are involved in brawls.
